My best friend and confidant, so many memories always finding humour in any situation eg: when a friend had been circumcised I quipped, did you give him any tips? He didn’t miss a beat saying no but I gave him a packet of onion rings. We would watch Rugby Six Nations and World Cup always with a beer or two, though watching these games will never be the same again. R.I.P. Mate till we meet again. Always in my thoughts.

So many years, so many memories, 61 years of fun, I am so glad you were part of my life, and the times we got into trouble at school, never our faults obviously. I am sorry we didn't get to meet for that drink this year, but I will raise a glass, maybe several on the 11th! Christine might not have known you as I had, but she remembers our antics! Until we meet again, Sleep well me old mucker! I hope you find a fast car 'up there'
